Knock Shrine is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage site and national shrine in the village of Knock, County Mayo, Ireland, where locals saw an apparition in 1879 of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, Saint John the Evangelist, angels, and Jesus Christ (the Lamb of God).
The Knock Loop walks start at the Pope Francis Plaza, situated across from the Parish Church on the Main Street in Knock. The routes vary in distance from 2.9 km to 18 km on picturesque roads, lanes and lakeside tracks.
