This route takes you past the tourist office and uphill to the statue of Christ
the King overlooking the Famous Glen of Aherlow.
The statue was erected in 1950 by voluntary labour and became known far
and wide as the Symbol of the Glen, overlooking and Blessing all who live and
all that pass through.
You have the option of continuing onto Tipperary town down through the
renowned hairpin bends or returning back through Lisvernane .
