Crone Woods Walk – Mountain Access Route

Located less than 30 minutes from Dublin City Crone Wood is a popular choice for many families and hill walkers. The forest has many trails to explore, this linear route takes you high onto the flanks of Maulin and provides access to the open mountains.

Starting at Crone Woods Carpark, this linear trail provides an access route to the open mountains. The end of this trail is at a gate leading to open mountain at an elevation of 450 meters. If you are planning on leaving this trail and entering the open mountains you must be able to navigate in poor weather and be properly equipped.
