Description by the author

Follow the forestry tracks, country roads, farm boreens and pastures around Knockalough for spectacular views of the countryside. The southern end of the trail takes in the townland of Foilagoule and on to Knockacaranduff Commons, where clear sightlines to the Galtees, the Knockmealdowns and Slievenamon are achieved from the viewing platform at the old trigonometric station.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are NOT to be taken on to private farmland. Dogs are allowed on forestry roads but strictly on a lead.
