This walk loops in an anticlockwise direction around the forest at Carrickgollogan with an optional detour to climb steeply up Carrickgollogan Hill and another to visit the Lead Mines Chimney. Views from Carrickgollogan Hill are spectacular and extensive, while from the Chimney they are of Dublin City and Bay and the coast.
