Description by the author

This trail is on forest road and track and rises over a series of hills and hollows to the Court Tomb, returning more gradually to the car park It passes through mature coniferous woodland as well as newly planted trees and close to a stone circle with a cashel, wedge tomb and sourterrain accessible in adjoining lands. There are excellent views of the surrounding countryside and rolling hills, including Lough Gill and Lough Colgagh
