The construction of this trail began in 1995 and it has since been extended to become the longest of the walks. Incorporating tranquil woods, it takes you on a leisurely walk on footpath along minor road, village street and purpose-built path from the village, by the Knockanure Road, to a restored lime kiln on a river walk, before continuing back on the Nature Trail where a variety of flora and fauna is in abundance. You move onto the Sportsfield route at the rear of the community sports hall and around the perimeter of Con Brosnan Park before returning to the village.
