Description by the author

The Himalayan Queen Kalka - Shimla train route is one of India´s nicest train rides. A little metre-gauge railway brings you via 102 tunnels, 87 bridges and 900 curves from Kalka to Shimla. The railroad was built in 1903 by the English to get to a cool summer city. The trip takes about 5 hours.
