Sarnico is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy
Lake Iseo or Lake Iseo, or Sebino, is a lake in the northern Italian provinces of Brescia and Bergamo. Its current name derives from the city of Iseo. In Roman times it had the name Sebinus Lacus. There are some islands in the lake. Monte Isola is the largest (4.5 km¦) in a lake-located island of Italy. The two other, much smaller, islands are called Isola di Loreto and Isola San Pietro. The lake is mainly fed by the river Oglio from the more northerly Valle Camonica. South of Lake Iseo lies the hilly region of Franciacorta, an important wine-growing region.
The most important places on the Brescian side are Iseo, Marone and Pisogne. On the sparsely populated Berga mask side: Sarnico and Lovere.
