Description

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo is the separation between the cities Auronzo and Dobbiaco. There is a great legend how this place became the border between the two places. The story is as follows: a woman from Auronzo and a woman from Dobbiaco would set off at the crowing of the cock. The place where they would meet would become the border between the two areas. But the woman of Auronzo cheated and left before dawn so the boundary became much more north.
