Ceirano GB & C was a historic automobile company, founded in October 1888 by Giovanni Battista Ceirano, Emanuele di Bricherasio, Attilio Calligaris, Pietro Fenoglio and Cesare Goria Gatti.
The headquarters of the new company was set at Turin, where it began to build bicycles under the Welleyes brand name. These were a success, and in 1899, the company hired Aristide Faccioli to design a small car with two seats with thee same name. Welleyes was a great commercial success for Ceirano, but managers found themselves unable to cope with the orders of the vehicle. Thus, in July 1899, Ceirano decided to sell the plans and patents to Giovanni Agnelli.
