Brixen train station is located on the Brenner railway in South Tyrol. As one of the most important urban centers in South Tyrol, Brixen has the third highest passenger numbers in the country.
The station is located in Brixen, the third largest city in South Tyrol and the main town of the Eisacktal. It is situated at an elevation of 571 m on the mountainside slightly southwest of the city center, which is quickly accessible from here. Brixen is an important traffic hub due to its location on the A22 and the SS 12, as well as being a junction of the Eisack and Puster valleys.
