The Roman theater of Trieste is an ancient theater in the Italian city of Trieste, built around 150 AD.
In the 1st century AD, Trieste was founded under Emperor Vespasian as a Roman colonia named Tergeste. There are some remains from the Roman period, such as the theater and the basilica in the city and the Riccardo Gate on the hill. The theater was presumably destroyed by the Lombards in the 6th century.
