The Capo Mele weather station is the reference weather station for the Meteorological Service of the Air Force and for the World Meteorological Organization, related to the eponymous promontory of the province of Savona.
The weather station is located in northwestern Italy, in Liguria, in the province of Savona, in the municipality of Andora, at 221 meters above sea level and at the geographic coordinates 43°57′27.64″N 8°10′11.68″E. The location is at the headquarters of the 115th Remote Radar Squadron of the Air Force on the Capo Mele promontory.
