The Rio Stava is a torrent located in Val di Stava, northern side of the Val di Fiemme in Trentino, which rises at Passo di Pampeago and flows into the Avisio, the main watercourse of the Val di Fiemme.
The stream originates in Pampeago, in the upper Val di Stava. After a long and narrow path between curves and small waterfalls continue to the left, following the profile of Mount Prestavel and flowing in the central area of the valley arrives at the village of Stava, which takes its name from the stream.
