The Praja-Ajeta-Tortora station is a railway station on the Battipaglia-Reggio Calabria line, located in the center of Praia a Mare. The composite name also refers to Aieta and Tortora.
The station was opened for service in the summer of 1894 along with the 62.7 km stretch of which it was the terminus, the opposite vertex of the route was the Pisciotta-Palinuro station. Since at the time Praia was still a hamlet of the municipality of Aieta, the old name of the station was Praja d'Ajeta-Tortora, which was only later converted while maintaining the version with the letter J.
