The Castello di Chiavenna Landi is a medieval lowland castle in Chiavenna Landi, a district of the municipality of Cortemaggiore in the Italian Emilia-Romagna.
The first records of the castle date back to 1209; the Registrum Magnum of the city of Piacenza states that a certain Gislerio Landi had a tower built in the village of Chiavenna after reaching an agreement that stipulated half of the tower would be granted to the aforementioned municipality in the province of Piacenza, which used it as a stronghold to prevent a possible invasion by troops from Cremona. In 1212, the city of Piacenza allowed certain individuals to permanently lease large tracts of land in the vicinity of the castle, with the hidden aim of achieving the cultivation of these lands by the beneficiaries.
