The Paraggi Castle is an ancient castle located in the municipality of Santa Margherita Ligure in northern Italy.
According to some sources, the construction of the castle dates back to the first half of the 17th century, and more precisely from 1626, during the time of the Republic of Genoa. Its function was to defend the coast of the Gulf of Tigullio. Between 1812 and 1814, during the time of the First French Empire, the castle was occupied by the troops of Napoleon Bonaparte.[1]
