Description

The Oratorio dei Santi Angeli Custodi is located in Via 20 Settembre in Camaiore and was built by the Compagnia di Santi Angeli Custodi in 1652. The front facade has an entrance portal and two octagonal windows, all covered with marble. In the opposite wall is a small choir. The rectangular building has a presbytery facing northeast, the hall is decorated with a system of pilasters and columns, while the main altar has a serliana motif (an architectural element consisting of a round arch symmetrically flanked by two openings surmounted by a architrave; between the arch and the two openings are two columns). The latter chapel is covered by a ribbed vault. The undecorated room is covered by a flat ceiling with the Maria monogram painted in the middle.
