This church was built in 1480 on the site where, according to tradition, Saint Linus, the second pope and immediate successor of Saint Peter, lived.
On the facade, the portal, dated 1513, is valuable.
The interior, with a single room and vaulted ceiling, is decorated with frescoes: in the twelve lunettes, Stories from the Life of Christ by Cosimo Daddi, whose self-portrait shows a cartouche with the date 1618.

Also noteworthy are the Nativity of Mary by Cesare Dandini, The Visitation by Daddi himself, Madonna, Saint Linus and other saints by Francesco Curradi (1597) and the precious funerary monument (1522) of Blessed Raffaele Maffei, founder of the church, by Silvio Cosini, decorated with statues by Stagio Stagi.
