The church was built in the 12th century and has a baroque facade with tufa statues of Saint Linus and Saint Justus, attributed to Leonardo Ricciarelli (16th century).
In the interior of the single-aisled Latin cross are a panel with the Madonna and Child and Saints of the Maestro di Volterra (15th-16th century), two panels by Niccolò Cercignani with the Annunciation and Saints and the Glory of the Virgin, a 16th -century wooden altar, a canvas by Francesco Brini depicting the Immaculate Conception and a painted stucco depicting the Madonna and Child within a 13th century almond tree.
