The Church of Sant'Agostino is an imposing building from the 13th century. Sant'Agostino is the second largest church in San Gimignano, after the Collegiata. The church has features of both Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The broad nave is covered with wooden trusses and ends with a quadrangular chapel flanked by two smaller chapels, also with a quadrangular plan.
Interestingly, the floor is made with original majolica tiles from the fifteenth century, the work of Andrea della Robbia.
Adjacent to the church is the Augustinian Monastery and a fifteenth-century monastery.
