The church of Sant'Ambrogio, also known by the title of collegiate, is the parish church of Omegna, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and the diocese of Novara; it is part of the pastoral unit of Omegna.
The original church of Omegna was built in the 10th century; the building was then subjected to an expansion and renovation around 1470, as confirmed by the date engraved on the side entrance portal.
