The current structure of the Church of Maria Santissima Annunziata dates from the early seventeenth century and was built on the remains of a former medieval church.
The interior has a basilica plan, with three naves marked by columns with central arches and covered with barrel vaults. The exterior is dominated by the blue majolica dome resting on a tall octagonal drum that dominates the urban landscape. The facade has a portal from 1634 flanked by two other smaller ones.
The complex is preceded by a garden, which is accessed through a rich eighteenth-century portal surmounted by a stucco Annunciation, the double ramp, which gives access, is of medieval origin.
