The Church of the Holy Family (also called Chiesa Mezza or Culliggeddu due to its modest size) is a church located on the ground floor of the former Jesuit college.
The church has a single nave with three altars. To the right of the main altar is the "Chapel of the Passion".
The wooden pulpit decorated with carvings dates from 1926, where the carpenter's tools (tongs, hammer and saw) are carved on both sides and on the pediment is the coat of arms of Saint Joseph, that is, the sun, stars and ears of corn seen in Joseph's dream the Just, all crowned by a wooden pavilion that matches the style. In the same year this pulpit won first prize at an exhibition in Montecatini.
The Congregation of the Holy Family, which is active within this church, organizes the Patronage Festival every year, which takes place in Piazza Ciullo. During the celebration, a stage is set up in front of the church of Gesù where some needy people representing the Holy Family take a seat and are offered lunch , served by the members of the congregation themselves
