A gymnasium probably stood on this site in the period 4th to 3rd century BC .
The fact is that the Bouleuterion was built on this plateau in the 2nd century BC . It is shaped like an indoor theater . It seats 200 audiences. The Bouleuterion is the place where the "Bulé", the civil council, met.
There is not much left to see because the building materials were reused in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries to build houses and a castle.
