Temple C has been partly restored. This temple is 63.7 meters long and 24 meters wide with columns 8.62 meters high and a diameter of 1.54 meters at the base. The temple is said to have been dedicated to Apollo.
In 1823, the three metopes representing the Quadriga of the Sun, the killing of the Medusa by Perseus and Heracles conquering the Cercopi, were discovered in pieces and reassembled in the Regional Archaeological Museum of Palermo, together with a huge mask of the Gorgon in polychrome terracotta.
