The church was founded in the 16th century by Tommaso Fazello, was rebuilt after a collapse in the second half of the 18th century and restored in 1859.
The facade, simple and strict , is built with exposed tuff blocks and is animated by the portal, a window and a projecting cornice on the top.
The interior with sober baroque shapes has one nave. The coat of arms on the vault of the Cappellone belongs to the Del Medico family. In addition to the numerous paintings illustrating the Dominicans' struggle against heresy, you can admire sixteenth-century panels in gilded stucco with frescoes of the miracles of San Domenico.
