Monte Kronio, Il Castello Incantato and city visit of Sciacca

Monte Kronio is definitely worth a visit. With its vapor caves of San Calogero, an exceptional geological phenomenon, and the Santuario di San Calogero, it is the perfect starting point for a walk in the Parco del Monte San Calogero nature reserve. You get the beautiful view of the Agrigento coast for free.

The Castello Incantato is the most visited place in the province of Agrigento after the Valley of the Temples. An artist sculpted hundreds of faces in stone there after his personality changed following an 'accident' during a forbidden love affair... He gave each of them a name and surname and considered them his subjects . It is one of the greatest exponents of Art Brut .

A visit to the port town of Sciacca, known for its multicolored ceramics, is definitely worthwhile. You can find the city guide here.
