The route of the Via Francigena Morenico-Canavesana, located between the Aosta Valley section and the Biella-Vercelli section, extends approximately 40 km crossing the territories of 10 municipalities: along the way, it traverses a beautiful stretch of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea created by the retreat of the Baltea Glacier, one of the best-preserved glacial geological formations in the world, dotted with lakes and characterized by the long profile of the Serra, a morainic ridge of 25 km. The route of the Via Francigena Morenico Canavesana is part of an international religious pathway, and it also intersects with the High Path of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea and with the Rings of the 5 Lakes.
