Bike tour to the emerald Lake Braies. The lakeside hotel dates back to 1887. The entire European elite of the 19th century came here on vacation. In World War II, Hitler used the hotel as a "prison" for prominent political prisoners. You can climb the Valparola Pass, the Cimabanche Pass and the Furcia Pass. The ski resort of Plan de Corones is even higher and can be reached by mountain bike on a dirt road. You can also take the cable car on a day off. The view up there is really worth it. you will see the Zillertal Alps and the Marmolada glacier. The elevation profiles and slopes are available in the book "Pedalando nelle Dolomiti".
