Climb to the Rifugio Auronzo, near the mountain peaks of Tre Cime di Lavaredo.The climb is known for the steep hairpin turns. And for the big controversy it created in the Giro of 1967 because it was too hard. Nevertheless, it was here that Eddy Merckx won in 1967, and he declared later on that this climb was one of the greatest rides of his life.
