Bike route around Parco Regionale di Piana Crixia.

On this particularly beautiful route, you almost constantly have a view of the stunning valleys of the Parco Regionale di Piana Crixia and its surroundings. The starting point may seem less logical: it is the most logical place to start if you are staying in Merana, for example in the beautiful "Verdita" where Natasha and Nicolas welcome you very hospitably. Of course, you can start from any other place along the route.
The route includes 5 ascents (2 long and 3 shorter). Only the 2 long ascents have a descent where you can really pick up speed. The 3 shorter ascents have steep sections (also in their descent) along fairly narrow but adequately safe roads. Because of this and the degree of difficulty of this ride (1,400 meters of elevation over 60 km!), you should take into account that your average speed will ultimately not be high.
