The Yumeshima Sea Route is a classic to do for cyclists in Japan.
The Yumeshima Kaido expressway connects Iwaki Island, Ikina Island, Sa Island, and Yuge Island in the remote island town of Kamijima, which is located right next to the Shimanami Kaido. Visitors can enjoy the different characteristics of the island on this course: Iwaki Island, where you can taste lemon pork and fresh seafood; Ikina Island, where much of the original island scenery remains; Sa Island, the only island in Japan with a U-turn on the blue cycling line; and Yuge Island, a nostalgic island with a rich history and nature.
