Noerdange Station Museum
For more than 70 years, a standard railway line called the "Prince Henri line" or the "Attert line" has served this connecting station. From Pétange to Ettelbruck. This has facilitated the transport of people and goods to the mining areas. The last train on this line ran in 1969.
Noerdange station was purchased in 1978 by the municipality of Beckerich. This old station currently houses a budget-friendly energy-efficient accommodation on the first floor and the first museum dedicated to the Luxembourg regional railway network on the ground floor.
A few steps further, a second line on a narrow gauge, called the "Jhangeli," connected Noerdange to Martelange three times a day.
This line was in operation from 1890 to 1953. The station, which has been preserved in its original form, is now privately owned.
