Along the 7 km long hiking trail Circuits auto-pédestres de Clervaux in Luxembourg, hikers can admire the impressive Neo-Romanesque abbey built in 1910 by the Benedictines of Saint-Maurice and Saint-Maur. The red brick tower of the abbey rises above the town center of Clervaux and forms a striking contrast to the green landscape. A monument nearby commemorates the peasant uprising of 1798 against French rule.
