The Sentier Charles Mathieu is a 46-kilometer-long hiking trail in Luxembourg. The route takes you through the picturesque landscape of the country and offers breathtaking views. A highlight along the way is the feudal castle built in the 9th century in the historic old town on the left riverbank. The castle was sold for a pittance in 1820, and restoration began in 1865, making it a popular attraction.
