The Sentier de l'Alzette is a 25-kilometer long hiking trail in Luxembourg. It runs along the Alzette River and offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. Among the sights along the way is the Dommeldange train station, which once played an important role in Luxembourg's iron industry. Along the northern route, which extends almost through all of Luxembourg, there are further train stations such as Walferdange in the north and Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg as well as Luxembourg in the south.
