Tour 8: A gateway to Western Luxembourg - This riding trail leads through the municipality of Mersch in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. A highlight is the anthropomorphic menhir from Beisenerbierg, a stone about three meters high made of local iron-rich sandstone. The menhir was discovered during an excavation in 2001 and is dated to the Neolithic period.
