The merged municipalities of Rosport-Mompach are surrounded by orchards and forests and have retained their original village character. The village of Rosport, with its approximately 800 inhabitants, is located directly on the Sauerknie and has many cultural offerings such as the Girsterklaus Chapel, the Tudor Castle with the castle park and the interactive Tudor Museum of Electricity and Accumulators. Luxembourg's only naturally bubbling mineral water source is located near the village and there is an adventure playground and swimming pool on site.
The section of Mompach is mostly on a plateau and especially in Mompach and Herborn many historic buildings have been preserved. On the banks of the Sauer in Born there is another idyllic campsite. A special feature is the orchid route in the Deiwelskopp nature reserve in Moersdorf. Many hiking trails, including in the Hierberbësch nature reserve, are waiting to be explored.
