We did this sporty walk on 28.09.2022

This is one of several fitness classes starting at the Beckerich gym . All routes are signposted on one side. This walk is marked in light blue. The good thing is that every kilometer you will find a marker that shows how many kilometers you have walked/run. Each route has its own color and also the marking of the km in this color.

The majority of this route leads on wide paths through the beautiful forests between Beckerich and Hobscheid. At 1.6 km you walk directly to the Belgian-Luxembourg border, where you will still find old border posts .

If you don't like all this beauty, you might be able to climb to the climax of this hike, for us anyway. The Hobscheid railway tunnel in the Attert cycle path (JC 12). It is an illuminated tunnel dug in sandstone with a length of 700 meters.

It should also be mentioned that the first 6 km (see photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, Figure 4, ) are very suitable for wheelchair users and strollers. We then go through the tunnel to return from there on the same road.
