For this beautiful walk, we parked the car in a nice spacious parking lot on the CR306 in Bissen. We departed clockwise. The hike is a combination of two locally marked trails marked with a deer and a wild boar . The markings are not thickly scattered, so it's best to bring a ticket and/or route.
We go down to the village of Bissen, which is located in the valley of the Attert. Where you have a great view of the surroundings. Bissen has a nice village center, but just outside this center you have a view of ArcelorMittal Bissen & Bettembourg - Site de Bissen SA. The industrial area, which already rises above an old railway line, is soon left behind to cross the Attert over a railway bridge through the beautiful forests that lie in the Attert valley. From there we stay in the forest until the starting point.
