Heiderscheid-Merscheid

We did this walk on 10/13/2022.

It's always nice to hike to different places, but it's also fun when you can make new routes in the same place from the campsite. This route is therefore very successful. You can depart from the Fuussekaul campsite. We did this loop clockwise. There are many signs, but you leave them as they are. Just follow this trail.

From the campsite, you descend into the Mëchelbaach valley, which you follow to a small sewage treatment plant. There you turn left to start via an asphalt road to Merscheid. Once we have crossed Merscheid, we descend into the Lirbech valley, where we follow the stream from the old Karlsbur washhouse to return to Heiderscheid on the way up.
