Parking is possible in the large parking lot of the Mertzig soccer field.
The hike is mostly on paved roads. Not bad, because there is a beautiful view of the Vleet. The highlight of the hike is the beautiful "Turelbaach Castle", which is hidden in the forest in the middle of a stream (Turelbaach).
The promenade consists of the 8 km long Mertzig Walking Authority and unmarked roads.
