Our point of view from the three countries

We built this beautiful intersection road on 15.05.2023. The markings are well maintained.

Parking and departures are possible at the top of the three countries of the monument of Europe. We left at km 33 and drove to km 25. With that, we set the direction of the march. So clockwise.

We follow the beautiful Our valley for a while, leaving it after 1.7 km and climbing over the Schelsbaachtal to Lieler. After this rather difficult climb you will reach the beautiful village of Lieler. The church is definitely worth a visit. We were lucky, because the door was not locked.

Lieler is a small village that is quickly crossed, after which the road leads down into the Ribbach valley. And you know what? Beautiful valley and of course beautiful views!

The Ribbach flows into the Weischbürenbach, which you follow for some time until you climb into the valley of an unnamed stream to the Cr363, a car-free road, which you follow for some time.

You descend again, this time to the Schiebachbach. We stay in the beautiful Schiebach valley until it flows into the Our near Ouren. There is a lot to see in Ouren. Be sure to do the Way of the Cross, which starts at St. Peter's Basilica. Once at the top, you have a beautiful view of the Our valley from the Rittersprung.

After all this beauty, unfortunately, it is time to continue the walk along a relatively busy road. We cross the Ouren and follow the road through the Our valley to the starting point. Definitely a nice valley, but as already mentioned, a relatively busy road. But after such a beautiful walk, which you like to take with you, the day can no longer be broken!
