Combination Hoffelt "Eislek Trail", cycle path "Gënzentour" and "Escapardenne Trail"

We did this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, breathtaking walk on 03.07.2023

We parked the car in the spacious parking lot of the Hoffeltkirche.

For the route we used the Eislek-Asselborn-Weg, a piece of bike tour " Gënzentour" and a piece of Escapardenne Eislek Trail. And in retrospect, that was an overwhelming and wonderful combination.

We started the loop counterclockwise and so we first did the part of the cycle path "Wëntger Gënzentour". Where this tour turns right, we drove straight ahead onto the loop "Eislek pad Asselborn". Before continuing, head deep into the Fennbaach Valley to take the road on the sidewalks. We continued along the Leeresmillen to the N12, which we took along the banks of the Trettetbaach .

We stayed for a while in the Trétterbaach valley. Normally, the Eislek loop goes up to the Moulin D'Asselborn, where the start of the Eislek tour is located. But we climbed up to the left through a steep climb towards Asselborn. In Asselborn we changed direction again to the Wincrange plateau, where we switched to the Escapardenne Eislek Trail to descend into the Emesbaach valley. We followed the trail until we happily picked up our car and still had fun in Hoffelt.
