We did it well marked on two sides Walking Auto on 17-08-2023

You can park in the spacious parking lot of the church, where the starting point of this super beautiful hike is also possible. The church is open. It has a beautiful, sober interior. It's worth it.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DOG OWNERS:

"Coupled with about six cattle grids at the beginning of this route, it's best to check if this walk is suitable for your dog. Our prince weighs only 6 kg and is easy to lift. But for larger, heavier dogs, grills could be a problem.

We walked the loop clockwise. Less than 200 meters from the starting point, you will pass an apple tree through a park where you can pick freely. Unfortunately, the apples were not quite ripe yet. The hike leads a little further into the picturesque valley of a stream. Where this stream flows into the Hämichterbaach, it flows into the Upper Sûre. A climb leads to the Kaaschterlach viewpoint, which offers a beautiful view of the Sûre. There is a bench to catch your breath and possibly grab a bite to eat.

The hike continues along the shores of Lake Upper Sûre, where you have a magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding area. Until it's time to come full circle. This is done through the beautiful forest, where you descend into the valley of a stream and then begin a steep climb back to Baschleiden.

Have fun on this walk,

Eddy, Rita and Prinske
