We took this beautiful trip on 14.04.2024. The hike is well marked in one direction. The departure is at the Roodt-sur-Syre train station.

"Enjoy the shade on this path through the forests of Riederbësch, Baurebësch and the Roman road to Kiem, before taking a return route through fields and a country road.

This long hike through the forest provides the perfect setting for a relaxing day. The route starts in the town center of Roodt/Syre, briefly leads you through the village, and then ascends into the mixed forest of Riederbësch. Following the forest paths, you pass through two more forests until you reach the small village of Olingen. From here, you walk briefly along the country road back to Roodt/Syre and turn right onto a paved country road that leads past green fields and back to the starting point.
