The trail is very well marked with a blue flag featuring a white wave, and the paths are, especially in the Luxembourg part, well maintained.
The trail and the paths are, in my opinion, not suitable for a beginner hiker. Also, your equipment and certainly your shoes must be suited to the terrain and weather conditions.
During our hike of the entire trail, we were unable to make use of the available campsites because they were still closed in early March. So we had to camp (out of necessity).
Vistas, waterways, and the nature around you. Take your time and enjoy it.
