We did this short, beautiful walk on 11/05/2025 (5504 steps).
The route is well signposted in both directions with LH 1. After having done two days of quite challenging hikes, we thought we would take an easy one today. We should have known better. The route goes through Kaundorf towards the Lac de la Haute Sûre. And what do you think? Challenging, of course! Once out of Kaundorf, there is a descent towards the reservoir. And what goes down must eventually come back up. You do that via narrow paths. A delightful walk!
Highlights include:
* the beautiful nature,
* May is equal to yellow gorse, yellow rapeseed, which gives the hike a golden appearance and it smells wonderful as well. A treat for the senses!
* the church of Kaundorf,
* incredibly beautiful views over the reservoir,
* a bunker from World War II,
* etc.
